At Takadao, we envision a world where communities work together to uplift one another, where financial services are no longer exclusively owned by banks and insurance companies, and where billions are no longer excluded.

Our mission is to build technology that powers mutual protection communities as alternatives to insurance. These mutual protection communities should exist to help people, be fair and transparent, and most importantly: be owned by the communities that they serve.

The initial founding team also strongly believes that everything should rest on a strong ethical backbone and we have chosen shariah-compliance to be our framework.
