Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.takadao.io/takadao-docs/part-b.-takadao-the-daos/06-benefits-payout-protocol/decentralized-benefit-payout-management-dbpm-a-multistage-process/stage-one-document-review/pre-verification.md).

# Pre-verification

When documents are submitted by the payout beneficiary, they undergo technical checks that ensure that no digital manipulation or editing has occurred and that text is legible. There are also technical checks for “red flag” conditions that may cause a request to be escalated to Stage Three immediately. An example of “red flag” conditions may include an unusually high number of requests originating for a single IP address or payout benefits that are unusually high compared to similar members.

In case a document can be traced digitally to a recognized or official source, the request skips Stage One and is accelerated to Stage Two. An example of this would be a police report that can be digitally verified on a government website.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.takadao.io/takadao-docs/part-b.-takadao-the-daos/06-benefits-payout-protocol/decentralized-benefit-payout-management-dbpm-a-multistage-process/stage-one-document-review/pre-verification.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
