# Stage Two - IRL Verification

This stage engages Verifiers to perform “In Real Life” (IRL) verifications. Verifiers will be tasked to use real world sources of information to verify the authenticity of the documents from Stage One and to obtain confirmation that the protected event took place in the way evidenced by the documents.

Examples of Real World Sources of Information:

* Government agencies
* Employers
* Registered and licensed professionals
* Social media activity by the member
* Hospitals
* Friends and family

The source of information depends on the type of information being verified.

Examples of methods of manual verification from real world sources

* Video calls
* Phone calls
* Email verification
* Written correspondence
* Signed affidavits

The methods used depend on the type of information being verified.

The number of Verifiers in Stage Two is at least 3. The maximum number will depend on the type of information being verified.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.takadao.io/takadao-docs/part-b.-takadao-the-daos/06-benefits-payout-protocol/decentralized-benefit-payout-management-dbpm-a-multistage-process/stage-two-irl-verification.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
