The story of HoW NFTs has its origins on slack. The idea of creating an endowment for Web3 innovation was/is one of the priorities set by the DAO Development Community. This idea was tested in discussions on Slack and now ongoing on Discord.

This project came about as a result of creative interaction amongst the Takadao team, beginning as a simple discussion and as time progressed it evolved into a shariah compliant community services financial offering, with NFTs as its governance token of choice.

All DAO NFTS are a shariah compliant representation of human beings and not any specific individual. This is achieved by excluding specific facial features that might cause the image to resemble a real person. Most prominently absent are eyes and mouth. Attire is another significant facet that we pass through a stringent shariah filter until the alternatives are within specifications.

NFT Collections

Pioneer (Contributor) Collection

• Target audience - Current collaborations with identified and selected contributors. Details can be found on houseofwisdao.io

• Purpose - Grants the holder the right to propose and vote on governance and decision making related to the grant funding process end to end.

• Design - based on the individual's actual photographic representation and filtered through a shariah compliant framework resulting in a shariah compliant Web3 avatar.

• Distribution - One of pieces will be distributed at launch

• Reward - Potentially a rare piece on the secondary NFT market in future, publicity as a creator in the Web3 environment, potential to change the course of the future.

Ambassador (Early Adopter) Collection

• Target audience - 1000 select individuals

• Purpose - To potentially impact the DAO positively over the course of its life.

• Design - Randomly designed but with the intention to benefit the DAO in all facets.

• Distribution - Strategic selection

• Floor Price - $50 (ETH equivalent) costs covered through sponsorships.

• Reward - ownership of a sought after piece that will continue to grow rarer over time, will eventually be tradable on the secondary market, rights to future airdrops, discounts and benefits when using other Taka product offerings.

And beyond

The DAO envisages facilitating themed 10 000 NFT collections at appropriate intervals in order to bolster its treasury and meet its objectives. These collections will be available to the open market, however current DAO members will be kept closely informed on these types of developments (in keeping with the access to exclusive information utility of HoW NFTs). The DC expects that naturally every new iteration of NFTs minted will evolve into the most efficient version that the DAO can construct, meaning that every new project will be cutting edge in relation to aesthetics, utility, technology (metadata)
