The Next Steps
Gamification
Gamification of the dashboard and user journey serves to increase incentive for people to join Terms and increase interaction with the product. Structural gamification involves a reputation system, and reward system. A reputation system will enable a user to view his own progress compared to the progress of other Takaturn users, whilst a reward system will recompense a user for the effort they make building and maintaining their reputation. Due to the complexity and experimentation involved in the gamification of an existing system, a basic reputation and reward system must be structured in such a way that can be iteratively improved and upgraded.
The areas that will be covered under the categories below:
Reputation System - The reputation system measures the reputation of a user through the accumulation of points when certain actions are invoked by the user. The reputation of a user will stay private.
Rewards System - The rewards system will involve awarding the user an NFT or badges that carry a utility. For example, earning a specific type of NFT may give the user the capability to create their own Turn-group, or it may give them early access to Takasure. However, version 2 of Takaturn will only involve awarding the user some points in exchange for desirable actions. The points will then be redeemable for various rewards, including but not limited to acquiring NFTs and a plethora of participation benefits .
A referral program will also earn users who refer, and users referred (two-sided awards) a number of points on successful referrals.
The point system follows a tiered rewards system to offer greater incentive for a user to proceed with an action.
Community Interactions
The current Takaturn dashboard does not contain any component for the user to interact with other term members or with the Takaturn community in general. Being a “community” saving product, great emphasis and effort must be placed into building features that enable interconnectivity between the Takaturn community members and build a strong sense of community.
A sense of community can be established through interactive elements such as a chat interface, commenting and reacting to other people's posts. On the other hand, the components can be informative, such as displaying a feed of events or displaying how contributions are positively impacting others in the community.
Community Interactions will be facilitated through the following areas:
Share Story (SS) - To provide the user the capability to share what they achieved with the money obtained from the Term or want to achieve. A potential success story refers to how a user is planning to use a loan. A success story refers to how a user used the loan.
Track Impact (TI) - To provide the user with the capability to measure how much they positively contributed to the community or their potential to contribute through an activity feed.
