When you join The LifeDAO, an in-app wallet is automatically created for you, which is linked to your email and password, giving you full control over it. In the crypto world, this kind of wallet is called a non-custodial crypto wallet - The LifeDAO does not have access to your funds or the private key for the wallet.

This in-app wallet is used for making payments, getting any underwriting surpluses, referral bonuses, and other rewards as a member of The LifeDAO. Once your wallet is set up, you can top it up by choosing one of the following payment methods:

• Method 1: Pay with a credit card

• Method 2: Pay with crypto from an external wallet

• Method 3 (coming soon): Pay with crypto from a connected non-custodial wallet

• Method 4 (coming soon): Pay with bank transfer
