# Savings Vault

The Savings Vault is a digital savings product built within The LifeDAO Nobank ecosystem. Members deposit USDC into a non-custodial smart contract system designed to generate yield through trading fees.

It is not a bank account and it is not a guaranteed investment product. It prioritizes liquidity and structured yield participation over speculative returns.

### How it works at a high level

Members deposit USDC into the Vault. Funds are deployed into liquidity strategies that generate trading fee yield.

Yield is distributed through a Mudarabah profit-sharing structure between members and the protocol. Members can withdraw their principal and accrued yield at any time, subject to blockchain and liquidity conditions.

The Savings Vault is:

* Non custodial
* Shariah aligned
* Community-owned
