# Virtual IBAN

Add money from your bank to LifeWallet using your Virtual IBAN.

### What is a Virtual IBAN?

A Virtual IBAN gives you account details for adding money from your bank to your LifeWallet.

It is not a traditional bank account. It is a way to fund your wallet.

### Why use it?

Regular money is also called fiat. It includes currencies such as USD, GBP, EUR, and NGN.

Imagine you have money in your bank account. Without a Virtual IBAN, you may first use an on-ramp such as Yellow Card, MoonPay, or Transak. You then move the crypto from that platform into LifeWallet.

With a Virtual IBAN, you can use your bank to fund LifeWallet directly.

**Your bank → Virtual IBAN → LifeWallet**

### Availability

Virtual IBAN access depends on:

* Your active Lifedao membership.
* Your location and applicable regulations.
* Identity verification, partner terms, and service availability.

Fees may apply under the applicable service and partner terms.
